Just got this dress and it’s adorable! It would be perfect if it were two inches longer ‘cause then I could wear it to work in the summer …  such are the problems of tall girls.

I want this dress quite badly. It would look so good with my yellow crossbody purse and 238947 other things in my closet.

When there’s so much beauty in the world sometimes I feel like I’m seeing it all at once, and it’s too much, my heart fills up like a balloon that’s about to burst. And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can’t feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid life.

Sitting beside the young woman, who looked so beautiful in the dawn, appeased and enchanted by the view of this magical decor — sea, mountains, clouds, the open sky — Gurov reflected that, essentially, if you thought about it, everything was beautiful in this world, everything except for what we ourselves think and do when we forget the higher goals of our being and our human dignity.

Believe in a love that is being stored up for you like an inheritance, and have faith that in this love there is a strength and a blessing so large that you can travel as far as you wish without having to step outside it.

How should we be able to forget those ancient myths that are at the beginning of all peoples - those myths about dragons that at the last moment turn into princesses. Perhaps all the dragons of our lives are princesses, only waiting to see us, once beautiful and brave. Perhaps everything terrible in our lives is, in its deepest being, something helpless, that wants help from us.

Understand, I’ll slip quietly
Away from the noisy crowd
When I see the pale
Stars rising, blooming over the oaks.
I’ll pursue solitary pathways
Through the pale twilit meadows,
With only this one dream:
You come too.
From “First Poems,” Rainer Maria Rilke
